Call for Book Chapters – Springer Publication on Tourism in Vietnam: Final Opportunity to Submit One of the Last Five Chapters

The Editorial Board of the book “Tourism Development Products in Vietnam: Pathways to Sustainable Growth and Cultural Preservation” is pleased to announce the final call for chapter submissions. This international scholarly volume will be published by Springer and indexed in Scopus.

This last round of submissions is limited to only five high-quality chapters, selected based on academic rigor, practical relevance, and innovative perspectives that contribute to advancing Vietnam’s tourism products toward sustainable development and cultural preservation.

Suggested Topics

Contributors may address one or more of the following areas:

  • Souvenirs and Handicrafts

  • Agricultural and Rural Tourism

  • Wellness Tourism

  • Sports and Adventure Tourism

  • Halal Tourism

  • Ecotourism

  • Culinary Tourism and Hospitality

  • Educational Tourism

Expected Scope of Contributions

Chapters should focus on one or more of the following themes:

  • In-depth analysis of a specific tourism product or model in Vietnam, especially those aligned with sustainability, such as community-based tourism, agro-tourism, or wellness tourism.

  • Exploration of cultural and historical contexts and the impact of tourism products on local communities.

  • Presentation of practical case studies, including local innovations, implementation challenges, and lessons learned.

  • Strategic recommendations for innovation and sustainable development to enhance the global competitiveness of Vietnam’s tourism sector.

Important Dates

  • Deadline for full chapter submissions: August 20, 2025

  • Chapter length: 5,000–7,000 words (including references)

  • All chapters will undergo a double-blind peer review and editorial process in accordance with international academic standards.
