iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE 2026 Officially Opens Applications with €100,000 Funding Pool

The internationally renowned design organization iF Design has officially opened applications for the iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE, a global award dedicated to supporting projects that generate measurable social impact.

With a total funding pool of €100,000, the 2026 edition continues to recognize and promote innovative initiatives that address pressing social challenges worldwide.

Projects Must Be Implemented and Demonstrate Real Impact

According to the organizers, the prize is open to NGOs, social enterprises, non-profit organizations, and community-driven initiatives that are already operational. Importantly, concept-only ideas or unimplemented student projects are not eligible.

Applicants must demonstrate alignment with at least one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as:
No Poverty
Quality Education
Gender Equality
Climate Action
Sustainable Cities and Communities

Five Key Evaluation Criteria

The jury will assess submissions based on five core criteria:

  • Effectiveness in addressing the identified social problem

  • Ethical standards

  • Relevance and value of the design solution

  • Responsible use of resources

  • Tangible benefits for the community

Beyond financial support, winning projects will gain international visibility through publication on the iF Design global platform, exposure to media outlets, and recognition within the global design community.
