Vietnam’s tourism industry is increasingly asserting its position on the global map, with exceptional potential rooted in culture, history, and emerging travel trends. In this context, the development of high-quality, sustainable, and innovative tourism products is essential for fostering growth and global integration.
To contribute to the strategic development of tourism products, we are pleased to announce the upcoming edited volume titled:
“Tourism Product Development in Vietnam”, to be published by a reputable international publisher. This book will serve as a key reference for scholars, industry practitioners, and policymakers both in Vietnam and internationally.
Book Focus
The book aims to explore:
- A comprehensive overview of Vietnam’s tourism landscape, emphasizing cultural heritage, innovation, and sustainability
- In-depth analyses of tourism product models and strategies, including community-based tourism, wellness retreats, eco-tourism, glamping, and Halal tourism
- The strategic role of product innovation in enhancing Vietnam’s competitiveness in the global tourism market
This volume will serve as a scientific resource and a bridge for knowledge exchange among scholars, businesses, and decision-makers committed to building a sustainable future for Vietnamese tourism.
Suggested Topics
We welcome contributions addressing, but not limited to, the following areas:
- Cultural and heritage tourism
- Community-based and agricultural tourism
- Wellness, resort, and eco-tourism
- Halal tourism, adventure tourism, and glamping
- Gastronomy tourism and hospitality services
Each chapter is expected to include:
- A focused analysis of a specific tourism product in Vietnam and its role
- Historical, cultural, and developmental context of the product
- Case studies showcasing successes, challenges, and innovation
- Strategic recommendations for sustainable and creative product development to enhance Vietnam’s global tourism positioning
Submission Guidelines
Submissions must be original, unpublished, and meet international academic standards. Please submit the following:
- Abstract (500 words): Clearly outlining the chapter’s objectives, main content, and academic contribution
- Keywords (up to 5): Reflecting the main themes of the chapter
- Author biography (150 words): Brief professional background
Timeline
- Abstract submission deadline February 14, 2025
- Notification of acceptance February 28, 2025
- Full chapter submission June 30, 2025
- Chapter length: 5,000–7,000 words, including citations and references
