The 7th International Conference on Tourism Development in Vietnam \u2013 Hue 2025, themed \u201cTourism, Heritage, Cities, and Creativity\u201d, will take place on August 1\u20132, 2025 in Hue City, Vietnam. The event is co-organized by the National Economics University (NEU), Hue University, and UNESCO, serving as an academic forum that brings together scholars and experts to discuss trends and strategies for sustainable tourism development, heritage conservation, and urban creativity.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Today, tourism has become an essential part of life\u2014contributing to heritage preservation, creative stimulation, and improved quality of life. Cities rich in heritage, historical architecture, and cultural traditions are attractive destinations that help restore and preserve local identities. At the same time, tourism benefits from generations of accumulated creativity, driving the growth of creative spaces in urban environments. <\/p>\n

The rise in tourist numbers not only stimulates local economies but also strengthens community pride in cultural heritage. Creativity in contemporary tourism fosters innovative approaches to heritage conservation and interpretation. Cities that integrate heritage and creativity into their tourism strategies enhance their competitiveness and appeal. Creative approaches\u2014such as digital storytelling, immersive experiences, and cultural festivals\u2014not only attract visitors but also strengthen community engagement and ensure sustainable preservation of cultural values. <\/p>\n

The 7th International Conference on Tourism Development in Vietnam \u2013 Hue 2025<\/strong> is co-organized by the National Economics University (NEU), Hue University, and UNESCO,<\/strong> and will be held in Hue City, Vietnam. The event aims to provide an academic forum for scholars and researchers working in the fields of tourism, heritage, urban development, and creativity<\/strong>. This year\u2019s conference takes place in a significant context: Thua Thien Hue has officially become a centrally governed city as of January 1, 2025<\/strong>, and is also the host of the Vietnam National Tourism Year 2025 <\/strong>under the theme \u201cHue \u2013 The Ancient Capital, New Opportunities<\/strong>.\u201d Additionally, the conference coincides with Hue Festival 2025<\/strong>, which features hundreds of cultural and tourism activities celebrating and promoting the city\u2019s heritage and creative industries. <\/p>\n
