MKCF prioritizes regional impact projects aligned with the national development goals of member countries. <\/p>\n<p>In the 2019 Mekong\u2013Han River Declaration, MKCF identified seven priority sectors to maximize the benefits of multilateral cooperation. Funding Amount &amp; Duration<\/h3>\n<p>Grant range: USD 300,000 \u2013 USD 1,000,000 per project<\/p>\n<p><strong>Implementation period<\/strong>: 2\u20133 years<\/p>\n<p>MKCF encourages triangular or quadrilateral cooperation with other donors such as MRC, Japan, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, and Canada.<\/p>\n<p>\u26a0\ufe0f Ineligible expenses include:<\/p>\n<p>Infrastructure construction, Office rental and utility bills<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Priority Funding Areas<\/h2>\n<p>Proposed projects must fall under one of the following seven priority areas:<\/p>\n<h3>1. Culture &amp; Tourism<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Cultural heritage preservation and restoration<\/li>\n<li>Youth education in arts, sports, and creative industries<\/li>\n<li>Cultural tourism development (e.g. art, music, cultural exchange, startups)<\/li>\n<li>Promotion of smart tourism and digital applications for sustainability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2. Human Resource Development<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Digital skills training and workforce upskilling<\/li>\n<li>TVET and CTE cooperation<\/li>\n<li>MSME capacity-building and support<\/li>\n<li>Green innovation in vocational education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>3. Agriculture &amp; Rural Development<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Agri-value chain development and supply chain expansion<\/li>\n<li>Productivity improvement and market access<\/li>\n<li>Agricultural digitalization<\/li>\n<li>Food security and safety enhancement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>4. Infrastructure<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Capacity-building in infrastructure management<\/li>\n<li>Essential infrastructure for rural and agricultural development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>5. Information and Communication Technology (ICT)<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>ICT in disaster risk management and climate adaptation<\/li>\n<li>Agri-tech and market information systems<\/li>\n<li>Digitalization of MSMEs, fintech, and e-commerce<\/li>\n<li>Expansion of telecom infrastructure in remote areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>6. Environment<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Promotion of green transport and electric vehicles (EVs)<\/li>\n<li>Natural resource protection and climate resilience<\/li>\n<li>ESG adoption in production practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>7.
